The high temperature for today is expected to be 60 degrees Fahrenheit with a low of 33 degrees and sunny skies. Northeast wind 5 to 7 miles per hour.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 84.

According to the statement, the combination of warm temperatures, breezy south winds and our dry conditions will lead once again to a very high fire danger this afternoon over much of eastern Iowa and northwest IL. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 6 miles per hour in the afternoon.
