Manchester City break several Premier League records

Manchester City have renamed one of their training pitches after Ivorian legend Yaya Toure who will be leaving the side at the end of the season.

City took their goals tally for the campaign to 105, their points total to 97 and their number of wins to 31, eclipsing previous best marks set by Chelsea.

"Ninety-seven points, a lot of goals, a lot of wins, that is a outcome of the season we have done", he told reporters, as quoted by BBC. We're going to try for 100 points and finish this nearly ideal season in the Premier League.

It's good. Now it's one more game.

"It's fantastic because we did that [break the records] in the day we always will remember - the day for Yaya".

However, according to SpaceX , an automatic abort was triggered with just 58 seconds remaining before liftoff at 5:47 p.m. The satellite launch, done on behalf the Bangladesh government, will allow internet access to all corners of the country.

"He's got the talent, he's got the desire and I think he still has the energy", said Toure. "In the dressing room in the beginning, in 2011, when we lost it was [a place] to smile, laugh".

"Now when we lose or draw you see everyone sad or angry".

City also won the League Cup this season, but was eliminated from the Champions League in the quarterfinals. Guardiola will be hoping his players ensure they become the first team to ever hit 100 points in a season during their final fixture against Southampton at the weekend.

However, Liverpool, who have a Champions League final to look to, would undoubtedly appeal to him more than any other Premier League side.

While many teams would have lowered their intensity a long time ago, Guardiola's men seem just as driven as they were at the start of the season, and racked up their latest victory on Wednesday night with a 3-1 victory against Brighton.
