Liverpool complete signing of Fabinho from Monaco

When his Monaco teammates Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko made their moves to England, Fabinho was expected to join the Red Devils.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has explained why he signed Brazil star Fabinho from Monaco for an estimated fee of about €45 million (R653 million).

Now that Fabinho has dotted the i's and crossed the t's on his Liverpool contract, what can we expect of him in the Premier League?

"This is something that I always wanted - this is a giant of a team", said Fabinho. So I was able know a bit more about Liverpool through Firmino.

"We also spoke about the coaches and how they do their work".

But a move is far from finalised and he will take his own time to think and deliberate over a transfer.

'We merely know that groups have an interest.

A Florida woman has escaped her partner, who she claims was threatening her at gunpoint, by slipping a note to a vet. She eventually convinced him that her dog needed to go to the DeLand Animal Hospital, according to a police report.

There was disappointment in Europe, however, as Fekir missed the CSKA Moscow defeat that ultimately cost them a place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, the final of which was played at Parc OL.

Fabinho was a midfield mainstay in Jardim's league-winning Monaco of 2016-17, typically partnering Tiémoué Bakayoko as the two deeper players in their 4-2-2-2 system.

His role in that side was to play the part of the interceptor in front of the back four, snuffing out attacking moves through strong positional play and winning back the ball. "We have signed a fantastic player, but someone who is an equally fantastic person I think".

If Liverpool can add these Ligue 1 gems to their squad ahead of next season, they would be sending out a significant statement of intent to the rest of European football.

"I like that he is young yet experienced also, with a high number of games at a club that compete to win".

Fekir told Telefoot when asked about the speculation surrounding Liverpool: "I am not close to joining Liverpool".
