TV's Roseanne says tweet 'cost me everything' but wasn't racist

Barr also briefly explained a video posted on her YouTube channel earlier this week, in which she yelled her explanation for the Jarrett tweet.

Although it was looked upon by many as a racist tweet, Barr insisted otherwise, calling it "political".

During the conversation, Barr seemed frustrated whenever Hannity brought the topic back around to the tweet, and she reiterated how it cost her "everything". "There are plenty of people who disagree with every word I say", he says. "That's what was in my head", said Barr.

We spoke with Roseanne Friday - after her TV apology to Valerie Jarrett ended with a diss on Jarrett's haircut - and asked if her "joke" was distracting from other points she made on Sean Hannity's show Thursday night. "Don't assume that you know what I meant because I think you don't know what I meant and I would like to make it clear to you what I did meant - mean", she said before delivering another insult. It was political. And I'm sorry for the misunderstanding that caused my ill-worded tweet. "I never meant to hurt anybody, or say anything negative about an entire race of people, which think 30 years of my work can attest to".

'I've apologised a lot, ' Barr said. "I like the middle way", she told the Fox News host.

"I don't suffer from it anymore", Barr said of a multiple personality disorder diagnosis.

Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho avoids Premier League title question
As you can see from comments made in media availabilities , the window is simply just not going Mourinho's way right now. Mourinho was speaking to the media in Los Angeles before his side's pre-season friendly against AC Milan on Thursday.

The rambling interview also covered Barr's mental health, her Jewish upbringing, and her views on Trump, who the actress has said she voted for in the 2016 presidential elections. "Martin Luther King said two things about forgiveness: He said... forgiveness is not an occasional act, it's a constant attitude, and... when we've lost the capacity to forgive, we've lost the capacity to love". But she also expressed pride in the ratings success that the "Roseanne" revival had, saying, "They can't take that away from me no matter what's happened". "Seriously. She needs a new haircut".

Barr has apologised to people for her tweet about former Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, an African-American woman.

Jarrett, for her part, has largely sidestepped the controversy.

"I have a different view of that", Barr replied. "And because of that fact, I took a vow to my religion to my god that I would always fight extremism on either side, right or left".

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey called the tweet "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values".
