LeBron on Kaepernick ad: I stand with anyone who believes in change

The former quarterback contends he's been blacklisted from the NFL after protesting injustice and racial inequality by taking a knee during the National Anthem.

The deal spurred debate among fans, with some urging a boycott of the Beaverton, Oregon-based company and others burning their Nike clothing.

"Nike is getting absolutely killed with anger and boycotts", Trump noted.

"Yeah. First of all, I do have tremendous respect for Nike as a company and for Phil Knight and just everything they've meant to sports", Jones said.

On Wednesday, Tennis star, Serena Williams spoke out in support of Kaepernick, both have endorsement deals with Nike.

Nike released an image on Monday of Kaepernick as part of their new "Just Do It" campaign and people wondered what more was to come. "We also believe that those who know what sacrifice is all about are more likely to be wearing a military uniform than an athletic uniform".

Barcelona: FIFA loses touch as Messi overlooked for ‘The Best’ awards
Not to forget, the midfield genius at Real Madrid was also awarded the best player of the recently ended FIFA World Cup 2018. Ronaldo left Madrid for Juve in a €112million move in July, ending his battle with Messi on the domestic stage at least.

Nike's ad features a black-and-white close-up of Kaepernick's face and a message in white letters that serves as a clear show of support for his cause. "I stand with anyone who believes in change". "All I could say it's wonderful so, kudos to Nike".

The next step in the Nike campaign comes Thursday night when its first commercial called "Dream Crazy" - narrated by Kaepernick - is reportedly set to air during the National Football League season opening game between the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles.

In the two-minute advert Kaepernick narrates before appearing halfway through. "Ask if they're insane enough", James replied with the sportswear giants' motto: "#JustDoIt".

Nike's net favorability fell among all groups within the 8,000 people surveyed for the report.

But the sports apparel giant has stood firm on its choice of Kaepernick, describing him as one of the most inspiring athletes of his generation.
