Jurgen Klopp defends Mohamed Salah after poor form continues against Chelsea

Chelsea's man of the hour, Eden Hazard, was in a positive mood after Chelsea and Liverpool played out a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Salah scored 32 Premier League goals last season but he is yet to replicate the same form that crowned him PFA Player of the Year.

"Getting a point at Chelsea is always a good result but if we play like that, we will win plenty of games". After battling injury issues and seemingly losing his spot in the squad, he comes back and scores against Chelsea twice in a week and this one gets style points.

Liverpool now boast a ideal record in the league, whilst Chelsea are only two points behind following their goalless draw with West Ham United. "[To finish] in the first two for me it's very hard, because City and Liverpool are a step forward to us".

"Of course Hazard is the first, but I think Pedro, Willian, Morata will be able to score more than 10 goals in a season".

"He had a full pre-season and is in best shape since I know him".

Liverpool made nine changes to the side that faced Maurizio Sarri's side midweek, with Virgil van Dijk being one of several key players to come in.

1-0 up fro the majority of the last Premier League match of the day thanks to Eden Hazard (who else?), who just can't seem to miss this season, in the 25th minute, Liverpool left Chelsea rueing their chances to finish the game off.

However, Daniel Sturridge's superb late goal salvaged a draw for Liverpool. "It's all good with the result".

Hazard put Chelsea in front in another star performance from the Belgian, following up with the victor he scored against Liverpool during the mid-week fixture in the Carabao Cup at Anfield.

"It was not Mo's best game of his career for sure", added Klopp. It is not like you wake up in the morning and you can not finish any more, or you can not ride a bike anymore.
