The Five Places Melania Trump Will Visit in Nairobi

The First Lady stuck her arm out to push the elephant away, with a frightened expression on her face.

But according to reports congress members have essentially ignored those requests.

Trump greeted two administrators as she arrived at the school with Virginia Palmer, the USA ambassador to Malawi.

According to Malawi State House official says Mrs Trump was looking forward to seeing how the USA can continue working together with Malawi to support a USAid programme that is focused on children's education. More girls than boys were in the first outside lesson, which totaled 275 students.

"Meeting those children and understanding their different way of life is why I wanted to travel here", she said. Her own 12-year-old son attends a private school in Maryland. "I was heartened to spend time with the students and was honored to donate school supplies and soccer balls".

Dodgers claim NL West title, Kenta Maeda contributes in relief
The Colorado Rockies' Charlie Blackmon completed a cycle by hitting an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday. In such an important game, the Dodgers chose to hand the ball to rookie Walker Buehler, and he came through in a big way.

Also at the airport to receive her was US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec and Mrs Kenyatta's Chief of Staff Constance Gakonyo, among others.

CNN White House reporter, Kate Bennett, tweeted: "I have covered @FLOTUS [Melania Trump] for nearly two years and have never seen her smile and laugh more than she is now with these baby elephants".

The President of Ghana (where Melania will also stop on the trip), Nana Akufo-Addo, criticised the reported comments at the time, calling them "extremely unfortunate". A third sign raised the immigration policy the president once enforced that led to thousands of children being separated from their families after they illegally entered the US from Mexico.

The convoy of the US First Lady however passed by without any incident and Mrs Trump might have seen the protests. Many children still have not been reunited with their families.

The visit is expected to interrupt a number of activities, including a partial shutdown of the busy Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). "I thought I wasn't going to have a chance to see her".
