Judge: Teenager accused of killing mom will remain in jail

Sometime around midnight, police say Ramos entered his mother's room and strangled her, he thought to death; as he moved her with a wheelbarrow, he discovered she was still alive.

"I do have an order to take juvenile into custody on a charge of first degree, premeditated murder - a capital felony", the judge said.

Ramos then teamed up with his close friends from University High School, Dylan Ceglarek and Brian Porras, both 17, to make it seem as though Cleavenger was killed during a break-in.

The DeBary teenager accused of strangling his mother to death because of an argument over school grades will remain in detention, a judge ruled Sunday.

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood took Spectrum News behind the River City Church to a trail that deputies say the teens used to access a fire pit, where they allegedly buried Cleavenger's body.

Amazon, based in Seattle, is apparently seriously considering an area known as Crystal City. A decision could come as soon as this week, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Nearby the home, deputies recovered the dumped property that was removed from the home in the fake burglary - computers and other electronics including a Playstation 4, a rifle and other items.

Porras' Orlando attorney, Kendall Ali, argued that Porras has no criminal history, had a good home and a good family to support him. But rather than expressing guilt or remorse, Chitwood said he seemed proud.

The boy left to school, and after returning home from school on Friday, he told deputies that his mother had vanished. ABC News is withholding the suspect's name because he is a minor and has not yet been formally charged with a crime.

At some point during conversations with investigators the teen confessed to carrying out the murder and staging the burglary with the two other teens. Photos of Ramos showed markings on his face which the Sheriff's Office believes are from his mother fighting back, detectives said.

"To watch how cold and callous and calculating he was, I think was probably the most shocking thing for all of us", Chitwood said. All our hearts break for this family, ' he added on Twitter. "She was such a small lady", Turner said. Police say Ramos and his mother got into a bad argument after he came home with a "D" in one of his subjects.
