Former Jazzman Rodney Hood is traded from Cavaliers to Trail Blazers

Several outlets report, the Trail Blazers are acquiring Rodney Hood in a deal with the Cavaliers.

The two draft picks that Cleveland is receiving in the deal are Portlands own 2021 and 2023 second round picks.

To make roster room, the Cavs released guard Kobi Simmons from his second 10-day contract. They're now the 4th seed in a very tight Western conference.

Stauskas has a career average of 6.9 points per game and Baldwin was a career average of 3.1 points per game.

Google Cloud also drove higher expenses, mostly headcount, which rose from the third quarter by nearly 4,400 people, to 98,771. The latter figure rose to $1.328 billion from last year's $748 million while TAC rose by a percent to $7.436 billion.

Mired in a rebuilding season forced by the free agency departure of LeBron James and Kevin Love's foot injury in the preseason opener that required November 2 surgery, the Cavs continue to build an impressive treasure chest. He has also played in six G League games this season, with the Texas Legends.

Baldwin averaged 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in a reserve role for Portland.

"Rodney is an accomplished NBA player that brings versatility, shot making and depth to our perimeter and will fit seamlessly into our culture and style of play", Blazers president of basketball operations Neil Olshey said. The 27-year-old has been quite impressive since his arrival, and in 33 appearances for the Cavs, Burks has averaged a serviceable 11.4 points, a career-best 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.3 turnovers in 28.5 minutes per game.

The Portland Trail Blazers are the latest team to take a crack at the NBA's trade market.
