Britain's Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Break Instagram Followers Record

More than often social media accounts led by couples get their fair share of criticism by annoyed friends or followers with distaste for sappy images and captions. Pope Francis held the record before Daniel, when he took 12 hours to gain 1 million followers. Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Mulroney, David Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Emma Roberts and many others have already followed them, along with Daniel Martin, the makeup artist for Meghan's wedding day.

He has both a Twitter and Instagram account, and now Prince Harry and Meghan Markle join him in having their own way of communicating with fans directly.

In their first post Harry and Meghan uploaded several photos, including an image of their joint monogram, as well as a shot of the pair enjoying a sailing trip on Sydney Harbour from their 2018 Australia tour.

They previously shared the @kensingtonroyal account with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

More than 57 million voters are eligible to choose mayors, local representatives and neighbourhood or village administrators. CHP leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu said: "The people have voted in favour of democracy, they have chosen democracy".

Are you excited for the arrival of Harry and Meghan's first child? Since then, the account following has doubled, and now stands at 2.1 million followers (correct at the time of writing on 3 April 2019).

Prince William and Kate Middleton are just like the rest of us it seems and like to update their Insta profile pics every now and again too. The decorative brand took to their Facebook page to confirm the news, writing in German: "Wir freuen uns sehr, dass sich das Prinzenpaar für ein Produkt aus unserem Sortiment entschieden hat!"

The separate Instagram account is just the latest instance of the couple distancing themselves from the rest of the royal family.

The Queen personally posted a photo on the account for the first time last month.
