Google Pixel 3a smartphone confirmed by Google Store

Rumors of Google working on a mid-range Pixel smartphone have been around for quite some time now, starting in the form of Pixel 3 Lite previous year. The two phones are now officially spotted on the Google Play Developer console revealing the specifications of the devices. These images reveal that the Pixel 3a and 3a XL have been codenamed as Sargo and Bonito, as reported previously. On the IMDA (Info-communications Media Development Authority) certification in Singapore, the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL were seen carrying the model number G020B and G020F respectively, spotted by MySmartPrice. The Pixel 3a would have a 2,915 mAh battery whereas the 3a XL would house a 3,430 mAh battery. 9to5Google also saw references to the Nest Hub Max in the Connected Home section of the Google Store, along with URLs referencing the new device.

The phones work with Android 9.0 and are equipped with a Snapdragon 670 processor.

Sargo is likely the standard 3a with an OLED display size of about 6-inches with a 1080 x 2200 resolution while Bonito's display is a bit bigger at 6-inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 making it the 3a XL.

Were Google to put the same awesome camera in the Pixel 3a but drive the price down by using a lesser screen, more plastic, and cheaper, less powerful internals it'd be great for customers who want a great camera in their pocket but can't afford the normal Pixel.

We do it our way, says Klopp after another late Liverpool win
It's all go, but Klopp's high-energy ransackers will be sitting pretty at the top of the shop for a full week at the very least. It was one of relief more than delight, as the Egyptian had been struggling but his class shone through at a pivotal moment.

As far as the imaging hardware is concerned, the Pixel 3a is said to house a 12MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP shooter on the front. It is speculated that the camera specs will be the same on both the phones.

With the Pixel 3a, Google reportedly releases a mid-range version of the Pixel 3. Also, this will be the first time when Google will launch mid-range Pixel phones.

It seems that Google has revealed by mistake the arrival of the expected but never formalized mid-range smartphone. However, it is not confirmed yet.

Google is known for announcing its Pixel series of smartphones in October.
